Douglas "Doug" Fuehrer, of Ayton, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 04, 2018. He was 64.

Born in Hanover on July 6, 1954 to the late Elmer and Marie (nee Grein) Fuehrer. Doug was employed with Normanby Township as a Grader Operator. He loved the outdoors and in his spare time hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Survived by daughter Pauline (Joe) Hunter and son Rob Fuehrer both of Ayton. Dearly loved papa of Justin, Jessica, Lilly, Maddie, Charley and Jorja. Predeceased by his parents.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Visitation at Mighton Funeral Home on Saturday, December 8, 2018 from 10-12 noon. Cremation has taken place.

Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or to the Lung Association are appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
