Thomas "Tom" Brigham

Thomas "Tom" Henry Brigham, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at The Village Senior's Community in Hanover on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. He was 76.

Born in Hanover on July 25, 1942, the eldest son of the late Ernest Clifford and Beulah Maria "Marie" (nee Klages) Brigham. When Tom turned 12, his family moved from the farm off the 12th of Bentinck into town. He completed his public and high schooling in Hanover later graduating from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo. Tom was a part-time teacher and worked as an electrician for most of his life and eventually operated his own business. His passion was playing the piano and organ and he did so for family, friends as well on occasion at the First St. Matthew's Lutheran Church. His passion led him to also become the proud owner of Brigham Organs where he took an interest in not only selling them, but restoration in addition. He absolutely loved the sound of a great hymn being played on the organ at Church. When he wasn't busy making music, he enjoyed to travel. His destinations took him to Germany as well as the United States

He is survived by his sister-in-law Jean Brigham of Hanover, 2 nephews Robert and his wife Melissa of Kitchener, Andrew and his wife Jennifer of Waterloo. He will be also remembered by his special friends Norine (Sat) SieuNarine of Hanover. Predeceased by his parents and brother Garnet Brigham.
