Norman Brittain, of Hanover, passed away at The Village Senior's Community, Hanover on Sunday, December 25, 2011. He was 89.
Born in Palmerston, son of the late Walter and Elenor (Davis) Brittain. Norman was an Examination Supervisor with the Ministry of Transportation until his retirement.
Survived by brother Kenneth (Birdell) Brittain of St. Catharines, niece Barabara (Jim) Pyatt of Thorold, nephew Brian (Miranda) Brittain of St. Catharines, great nieces and nephews Grace and Jackson Pyatt and Briana and Brycen Brittain. Dear family friend of Bev Strucke of Hanover. Norman will be fondly remembered by his family in Montreal. Predeceased by his wife Bernice (Speer) Brittain, brother Walter Brittain and sister Irene Walsh.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm where a Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 03, 2012 at 11:00 am.
Interment in Hanover Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Arthritis Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
