Nellie Byers, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover and District Hospital, on Saturday, January 28, 2012.  She was 91.

Born in Normanby Township, daughter of the late James and Marietta (Anderson) Byers.  Nellie was a member of the Hanover Lawn Bowling and Hampden Womens' Institute.

Survived by sisters Marion Litt of Hanover, Beth (Ken) Laine of British Columbia, sisters-in-law Julia Byers of Hanover and Berneda Byers of Hanover and several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by brothers Hudson and Anderson Byers.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday from 2 - 4 pm, where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 11:00 am.

Rev. Rienk Vlietstra officitating and Rev. Stan Bunston assisting. Interment in Hampden Cemetery, Normanby Township.
