Ruth Disney, of Hanover, formerly of Elmwood, passed away at McVean Lodge, Hanover on Thursday, December 29, 2011. 

She was 91.

Born in Bentinck Township, daughter of the late Christian and Elizabeth (Mahn) Weirmier.

Survived by son Bruce Disney (Bonnie) of Hanover, daughters Grace (Bruce) Kaiser of Conestogo, Marlene (Bob) Schnurr of Owen Sound, Doreen (Don) Gateman of RR#2 Elmwood, grandchildren Wendy (Paul) Moos, Deb (Jason) Doerbecker, Brad (Ingrid) Kaiser, Krista (Dave) Vrolyk and Ryan (Jade) Schnurr, great grandchildren Jon Moos (LeRhonda), Serena Moos, Blake and Julia Doerbecker, Deedra, Brett and Emma Kaiser, Reid and Meghan Vrolyk, brother Herb (Mary) Weirmier of Waterloo, sister Betty Stever of RR#3 Elmwood and sister in law Lovica Weirmier of Chesley. Predeceased by her husband Roy Disney, daughter in law Shirley Disney, brothers Joe, George (ClaraBelle), Clayton, Clarence (Elva), and Walter Weirmier, sister Anne (Bill) Jackson and a sister in infancy.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday   2-4 and 7-9 pm where a Funeral Service will be held on  Monday, January 02, 2012 at 11:00 am.
