Lloyd Klemmer

Lloyd Klemmer, of Hanover, passed away at The Village Senior's Community, Hanover on Friday, February 03, 2012. 

He was 97.

Born in Hanover, son of the late Edward and Marie (Leinberger) Klemmer. Lloyd was a fur farmer and was employed at Spiez Furniture. He was a member of the Hanover Seniors Club, and a sixty year member of the Hanover Royal Canadian Legion Branch #130 and a Veteran of World War II.

Survived by grandsons Bill (Michelle), Ron (Meritt), Terry, John (Christine), Bruce (Claudia), and several greatgrandchildren.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by wives Gladys Leifso, Tina Holler, Gladys Watchhorn, brothers Norman, George, Allan, sisters Esther Ruppenthal and Beatrice Scheidel. 

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm  with Hanover Legion Memorial Service at 6:30 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 06, 2012 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Church.

Spring Interment in Colpoy's Bay Cemetery.

 

Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hanover Legion Poppy Fund would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
