| John and Marilyn became the owners of Mighton
Funeral Home in 1984. Prior to this, for 10 years, John had worked
as a Funeral Director in Stratford at the Heinbuck Funeral Home.
Marilyn, as a Certified General Accountant, was employed with
BDO Ward Mallette. |

Both John and Marilyn were born
and raised in the Hanover/Walkerton area. John is the son of
Phyllis and the late Robert Mighton. Marilyn is the daughter
of the late Carl and Mabel Frook. They have four sons, Jeremy
and his wife Heather, Benjamin and his wife Shannon, Adam and
his wife Kim and Daniel. Their grandchildren are an important
part of their lives. |
