Joanne Pauline Hetsler, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at Hanover and District Hospital surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at the age of 56.

Born in Hanover on September 26, 1963, youngest daughter of the late Earl and Mildred (Buhrow) Becker. Joanne worked at the Hanover Care Centre as a dietary aide/Personal Support Worker. She will be remembered for her smile and heart of gold.

Survived by loving husband Art Hetsler of Hanover. Mother of Crystal (Justin) Tolton of Emsdale, and Candice (Curtis) Weber of Mildmay. Loved grandmother of Natalie, Zander, Lillian, Jace and Ruby. Fondly remembered by her siblings Diane Pfeffer of Hanover, Brian (Bonnie) Becker of Neustadt, Linda (Doug) David of Neustadt, Karen Becker (Gary Whitehead) of Varney and Debbie (Randy) Yager of Port Elgin. Loved by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Sister in law of William (Janet), Russell (Helen), Ruthanne (Dennis), Jim (Ann), Milton (Ronda) and Peter (Joy). Predeceased by her son Jonathan, parents, mother in law Ruth Hetsler and brother in law Glen Pfeffer.

A private family visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Monday, June 8, 2020 from 10 am until time of a Funeral Service at 11 am. Pastor Heather Spencer Stoltz officiating. Interment in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Ayton.
