Richard Mallais, of Hanover, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 17, 2021. He was 71.
Born in Cornwall Township on January 4, 1950, son of the late Medric and Stella (Brideau) Mallais.
Survived by sons Jimmy Mallais of Oshawa, Eric Mallais of Owen Sound, Richard Mallais of Alberta, grandchildren Maddison and Mason, sister-in-law Kim Mallais of Hanover, niece Jenine Hylton of Hanover, and 5 brothers and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and several brothers.
A Private Funeral Service was held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Father Leszek Szczygiel officiated. Interment in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Thornhill, Ontario.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation were appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
