Troy Huehn

Troy Huehn, of Hanover, passed away suddenly as the result of an automobile accident on Sunday, November 7, 2021. He was 40. 

He was born on October 29, 1981, in Hanover, to Ivan and Kay (nee Rosendale) Huehn. Troy created beautiful carpentry in furniture and renovations. He was also quite a handyman with mechanics, and could fix almost anything he was asked to. He was a great friend to many, a wonderful son, fiancé, father, brother, and uncle, and will be dearly missed.  

Survived by his loving fiancé Sara Woods of Hanover, cherished daughter Ivy and step daughter Lexie. Dear son of Ivan and Kay Huehn of West Grey and brother of Jo-Anne (Jim) Weltz of West Grey, Darlene Weltz of Waterloo, Reg (Kerry) Huehn of Innotville, John Allensen (Elaine Stewart) of New Glasgow, N.S., Marjorie (Pat) Logel of Walkerton and Randy Allensen (Kelly) of London. Also survived by mother-in-law Liz Williams (Mike) of Walkerton, father-in-law Dan (Janet) Woods of St. Thomas and sister-in-law Aly Ford of Huntsville, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, their families, and many close friends.

A public visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 1-4 pm. All are welcome. Facemasks must be worn indoors, and appropriate social distancing measures to be followed while attending.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 1 pm at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Neustadt. Rev. Fred Ludolph officiating. For those who wish to join and view the Memorial Service, it will be live streamed through the funeral home Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Mighton-Funeral-Home-Ltd-109625187108921 The live stream will start approximately 5-10 minutes prior to the service - at that time, please look for the live stream video post on the Funeral Home Facebook Page to join the service. For people unable to join at the time of the service, the live stream video will remain posted and available for viewing afterwards, and will also be posted on the Funeral Home obituary page soon afterwards.   

Inurnment to follow in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Neustadt.
