Ruth was born on October 26, 1951 and passed away on August 21, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of the late Brian Wise and cherished mom of Angela.
A private burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hanover Public Library or to the Hanover and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

My deepest Sympathy to Angela and the family. Ruth was a very caring person, and will be deeply missed. I always enjoyed her annual Christmas letter with all her news. Rest in peace dear cousin.

Ruth never forgot a birthday or anniversary; her card would always arrive in the mail. We feel privileged to have known her all these years. While a student at Walkerton District Secondary School, she started the school newspaper and was active in other activities, such as Army Cadets. As an adult, she researched the genealogy of the Filsinger family, and compiled her findings, sharing what she had learned. She remained active in the community, and was always a very supportive friend.
Angela, Ted, Ron and family : we were so sorry to hear of Ruths death. I have many happy memories of times with Ruth in public school and at the school reunion. May she now be at rest and may all the good memories you have of her help you through this time of sorrow.
