Isabelle Myrtle Stinson (nee McCracken), of Hanover, passed away peacefully at Hanover and District Hospital on Saturday, October 8, 2022. She was 85.

Born in Glenelg Township on January 5, 1937 to the late Gordon and Margaret (nee McLean) McCracken. She was a member of the CWL with Holy Family Church in Hanover.

Survived by children Bev (Todd) Gilchrist of New Dundee, Robert (Micheline) Stinson of New Lowell, John (Karen) Stinson of Tara and Marg Dennie (Alvin Pegelo) of Hanover. Loved grandmother of Samantha (Brett), Jonathan, Juliane (Gavin), Sabrina, Rachel, Steven (Shaynee), Brittany (Harrison), Amanda, Michael (Lisa) and Andrew (Christine). Special great grandmother of Jace, Chloe, Brielle, Cadence, Ashton, Alex, Scarlett, Hannah, Brinley, Emersyn, Ryker and a babe due next month. Remembered by her brother Cam (Barb) McCracken of Durham as well as nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband Wilfred "Mike" Stinson (2011) and by her sister Darleen Dickie.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 6-8pm, and Wednesday October 12, 2022 from 9-10:45 am where a Funeral Service will commence at 11:00 am.  Cremation to follow.

Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
