Huber "Jim" Lahn

Huber James "Jim" Lahn, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, October 1, 2022. He was 89.

Born in Hanover, Ontario, on December 20, 1932, to the late Norman and Carrie (nee Barkholtz) Lahn.  Jim was a former member of the Hanover Legion, the Hanover Lawn Bowling Club, and St. Matthew's Ev. Lutheran Church in Hanover.  Many may also remember Jim from his years working as a labourer around town with various jobs, including working for a long time with Bob Baetz.

Survived by his sister Norma Geberdt of Neustadt, and sisters-in-law Shirley Lahn of Hanover and Louise Lahn of Listowel, as well as many nieces, nephews, and their families. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Bruce, Christopher "Ernie", and Howard, and by his sisters Marion Henry and Geraldine Boileau.

Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside memorial service and inurnment will be held at St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery, Brant Township.
