Travis Green

Travis Green

Travis James Green, of Georgina, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 6, 2022.  He was 34.

Born on September 15, 1988 in Egremont Township, to James Green and Jane Leroux. He was currently not working due to a recent hand injury, but previously enjoyed the construction field. Travis was a force to be reckoned with. He came into this world fast, fearless, strong, and loud just like he lived his life. He loved a good adrenaline rush, especially if someone was watching. He was sweet, gentle and silly. Travis was hard working. He loved to work with his hands, and he was very good at it. From a young age he was always taking things apart and fixing them. He loved to build, whether it was a home, a tree house or a beautiful out house. He loved to be outdoors, and hunting. He loved to be busy. He loved bending the rules so the kids (and he himself of course) could have fun. Travis was a kind man, who would stop and help complete strangers. He stood up for people and what he believed in. He will be missed so dearly by so many.

Leaving behind to mourn him are his son Jaxson, step-son Madsen, and daughter Kayla. Loved by his fiancée Christa Neddow. He will be forever missed by his mother Jane Leroux, his sister Melanie Bickerton (Jen) of Ottawa and brothers Shawn Green of Pointe au Baril, Steven Green of Hanover and Kyle Green (Maighan) of Alliston. Special uncle to his nephews Aidan, and Landon. Remembered by his father Jim Green and his father figure Bruce Martin.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  A Funeral Celebration Service will be held at the Hanover Missionary Church (628 11th St, Hanover) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Pastor Lyndsay McGregor officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked to please donate to the go fund me  (https://www.gofundme.com/f/funeral-for-travis-green?qid=1574d46445b8ebd9c99dc2e0908e1f31) that will be used for his son Jaxson who is autistic non- verbal, for support and specialty therapy especially in these developmental years.
