Neil Joseph MacDonald, of Hanover, passed away peacefully at The Village Senior's Community, Hanover on Friday, November 25, 2022. He was 64.
Born on December 2, 1957 to the late Angus and Gladys MacDonald. Neil was employed as Custodial Staff with Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo for years until health complications prevented him.
Survived by children Sarah MacDonald (Rob Case) of Victoria, B.C, Josh MacDonald (Melissa Lafave) of West Grey, Rebecca MacDonald of Elmira and Rachel MacDonald of Guelph. Loved grandpa of Damian, Phoenix, Faith, Jacob and Lucas. Remembered by his sister Sandra (Ross) Beisel of Arthur. Predeceased by his parents and sister Veronica.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration will be planned in the future.

I knew Neil when his children were young, providing childcare to each one of them. This man has one of the most beautiful souls that I have ever come across.
