Antoinette 'Tonie' Botting, of Neustadt, passed away at Grey-Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
Born in Cochrane, Ontario, to the late Alphonse and Jeanne (nee Lamontagne) Cousineau. Many people will remember Tonie's friendly smile and hard work ethic from her years working alongside her husband.Tonie loved her family and spending time with them. Her passion for both quilting and gardening brought joy to her family and friends.
Survived by loving husband Len Botting of Neustadt, and sons Gilles (Chantal) Piquette of Matheson, and Denis (Stacey Latham) Piquette of London. Cherished grandmother of Justin (Andreanne), Renee, Danielle, Ryan (Michelle), Claire (Ben), and Marc, and great grandmother of Caleb and Leo. Fondly remembered by siblings Romeo, Andre (Annette), Albert (Pat), Reg, and Lucille (Jean-Guy), as well as several nieces, nephews, in-laws, and their families. Predeceased by her parents, and siblings Paul, Pauline, and Paulette.
A Private Family Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church, Carlsruhe. Father Romelito Guillen officiating. Inurnment in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Carlsruhe.

Hidden Acres is deeply saddened to hear of the sudden loss of dearest Tonie.
Over the years we have enjoyed her friendship, sense of humor, care for others, creativity, her smile and conversations about the latest happenings in life.
We consider it an absolute gift to have welcomed her to Hidden Acres year after year. She was a light, one that will be very missed.

I am so heartbroken to hear the news of Tonie's passing. Her generosity, loving and sweet soul will be so missed. She and Len had such a wonderful impact on my life while i worked at Grannys for many years. She always welcomed with a warm smile and meant so much to the people around her. Dear Len and Family, Our family is so sorry and so sad to learn of Tonie's passing. Tonie meant a lot to our family. In particular, she and Len exuded such a positive influence on Kirk; he thoroughly enjoyed working for Len and Tonie at Granny's throughout his high school years. Tonie always greeted each one of us with a smile and always asked us how we - and the boys - were doing- every time we met. We will always remember her kind heart, her gardening tips, and her impressive work ethic.
