Murray Harold Lahn, of Hanover, passed away a lengthy battle with heart complications at Hanover and District Hospital on Friday. April 12, 2024. He was 77.
Born in Hanover on January 11, 1947 to the late Harold and Fern (nee Krotz) Lahn. Murray was well known around the community for his construction skills and mastery of carpentry.
Survived by children Krista (Dave) Wiseman of Hanover, Mark Lahn (Margot McFarlane) of Scarborough, Shawna (Jeff) Jorgensen of Airdrie, Alberta and Ryan (Candice) Lahn of Neustadt. Special grandpa of Ashley, Kyler, Matti, Alli, Christopher, Sara and Alexis. Fondly remembered by his sister Faye Lahn and by his brother Dennis (Nancy) Lahn both of Hanover. He will be missed by his nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents and his beloved wife Lois (nee Larsen).
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Family Memorial Service will be held. Pastor Jenn Brown officiating. Inurnment with his wife Lois will take place at the Hanover Columbarium.
Memorial donations to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
