Joan Elizabeth Clark, formerly of Kincardine and Deseronto, passed away peacefully at Waterloo Regional Health Network in Kitchener on Thursday, April 10, 2025 with family by her side. She was 82.
Born on May 10, 1942 in Bell Island, Newfoundland to the late James and Edith (nee Churchill) Parsons, Joan left the island for Ontario when she was just 16. Joan loved her family and friends dearly.
Survived by daughters Lisa (Lloyd) Robertson and Amy Clark (Doug). Incredible grandmother to Harlaquin, Keira, Nathan, Brody and Lillian of whom she adored. Dear sister of Jim (Christine) Parsons and sister-in law of Elaine (George) Clark. She will be fondly remembered by the Clark and Parsons extended families.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Frank of whom she was married to for 49 years, sister Lillian (George) Parsons, brother Chesley (Ada) Parsons, brother Cyril (Jane) Parsons, and Mildred Parsons in her infancy.
To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place and she is reunited with her beloved husband Frank.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Come and Go to celebrate and honour Joan and her beloved husband Frank, at the Neustadt Community Centre, on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 1-3pm.
