John Gordon Becker of RR#1 Neustadt, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Strathcona Long Term Care in Mount Forest. He was 69 years old.
Born on December 9, 1955 to the late Lorne and Florence Becker (nee Wesch) of RR#1 Neustadt.
Fondly remembered by his sister Pauline (Jeff) Houston of Waterloo, nieces Ashley DuToit (Stefanus) of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Courtney Witt (Travis) of St. Jacobs and six grand nieces and nephews.
John was a proud, lifelong farmer living on the family dairy farm where he was born and lived his entire life up until a significant decline in his health at the beginning of this year. John preferred a quiet secluded lifestyle on the farm, rarely venturing far from home.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation on Monday, June 2, 2025 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Neustadt from 11 until 11:45 where a Service will commence at 12 noon. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church – Neustadt or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and may be made through www.mightonfuneralhome.ca
