Dorothy Ellen Browley, of Durham, passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 in her 93^rd year. 

Born on June 2, 1932 in Sherbrook, Quebec to the late George and Ivy Mason. Dorothy was well known for her fun-loving personality, always wanting to have a good time with family and friends, be it enjoying a simple visit, or a good card game (her favourite being Rummy). She worked in various jobs throughout her career, in both Quebec, and Ontario in the Brampton area. She was a very proud grandma, and loved spending quality time with her grandchildren. 

Loving mother of Dennis (Janice) Borden of Flesherton, and daughter-in-law Ginette Borden of Kapuskasing. Proud grandmother of Cindy, Danny, Lisa (Dan), Jamie (Carla), Andrea, and Blair, and great grandmother of seven.  Fondly remembered by her siblings, Bev, Ada, and Ernest, as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families. Predeceased by her husband John Browley, and sons Donald (Joanie) and Douglas Borden. 

To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
