Marie Adeline Pfeffer, of Hanover, passed away at Hanover Care Centre, Hanover on Monday, June 2, 2025. She was 95.
Marie was born in Normanby Township daughter of the late Andrew and Rose (Zimmerman) Becker. She was a member of St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church and was employed part-time with Horizon Chicks until retiring.
Mother of Delores (David) Colwell, grandmother of Rob (Megan) Colwell and Randy (Jackie) Colwell, and great grandmother of Kelly, Kayla, Autumn, and Ryan. Fondly remembered by her siblings, Elmer (Joyce) Becker, Ernie (Marj) Taylor, Florence Birr and Mabel Strader. Also remembered by Richard & Lee Michaud and their family, and by her neighbour and good friend Georgina Webb. Predeceased by her parents, husband Lloyd (1996), brothers-in-law Allan Birr and Joseph Strader.
A private funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover. Rev. Lori Pilatzke officiating. Interment in Hanover Cemetery.

So sad to hear about Marie's passing. I visited her for many years with my therapy dog Kayla and of course she remembered Kayla's name as it was the same as her great grand daughters. We will miss our chats.
