Bradley David Angst

Bradley David Angst

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bradley David Angst, who left us peacefully on August 7, 2025, at the age of 60.

Born on September 10, 1964, Brad spent most of his life in Hanover, Ontario, where he built lasting friendships and a legacy of kindness, loyalty, and love for his community. He also spent many years living in the Waterloo Region, where his generous spirit and love for life continued to touch those around him.

Brad was the beloved son of Gail Angst and was predeceased by his father, Larry Angst, whom he deeply missed.

A passionate sports fan, Brad’s heart beat blue and white for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and his love of hockey was unmatched. Whether settling in to watch a game or analyzing every trade and play, Brad's enthusiasm was contagious. He enjoyed many sports, but hockey remained his greatest love.

Brad also found great joy and purpose in attending his weekly day-away program, which became an important part of his routine and social life. He looked forward to it every week and cherished the friendships he made there. He will be deeply missed by all of his friends and the caring staff who shared in those special days with him.

One of Brad’s favorite things was talking on the phone with his friends—catching up, sharing stories, and staying connected with the people he cared about. His calls were always heartfelt, and his conversations will be fondly remembered by those lucky enough to receive them.

Brad’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 10am – 10:45 am. A celebration of Brad’s life will then follow at 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hanover & District Hospital Dialysis Unit or to the Day-Away-Program.

Rest easy, Brad. May the rink in heaven always have a game on.

Condolences to Gail and family. His unwavering love for his Mother and passion for hockey were unmatched. I will miss his way of greeting his neighbors in the dining room and always encouraging others to keep going even when he was feeling down himself. Yet another star shining down on us. I am glad you are at peace Bradley. I'll miss you.
