With great sadness we announce the loss of Jimmy Sachs of Hanover in his 74th year on August 12, 2025.
Cherished Uncle of Heather Sachs (Gary), Curtis Sachs, Pamela Sachs, Laura Sachs, Lisa Sachs (Paul) and loving Great Uncle of Luke Slat. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews for his contagious laugh and wild stories. Son of the late Edward and Viola (Schuknecht) Sachs. Brother of Carol Ann Beckett (John), predeceased by loving brothers Larrie (Nancy), Ernie, Marv, David and Barry Sachs as well as his nephew Christopher. He will be sadly missed by his favourite cousin Marlene Lina, and many dear close friends and neighbours. Jimmy found great joy in driving around town in his little blue electric car and telling jokes to brighten someone's day!
Our most heartfelt thanks to Hanover Police Service and special thanks to Rob Schwartz, friends and neighbours Wally, Johnny D and VON of Grey-Bruce who have cared for our Uncle like family which allowed him to live freely and peacefully in his home.
Cremation has taken place and private family graveside service with Inurnment to follow in Hanover Cemetery. We welcome friends, neighbours and family to a celebration of Jimmy's life at the Royal Canadian Legion Hanover on Saturday, October 18, 2025 between 2 and 4 pm.

Our family has enjoyed getting to know Jimmy over the years. Always loved to have a chat and share his stories about our property in the old days and his memories.
The kids loved to wave at him driving in his little blue car and he would be the horn back at them.
