Phyllis Doreen (nee Vines) Klein passed away peacefully at Southbridge LTC in Owen Sound on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 in her 98th year.
Loving mother of Joanne Klein and her husband Byron Monk and Don Klein and his wife JiaShuang. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Monk (Dan Zuwala), Valeri Monk and Matt and Sarah Klein. Great grandmother of Arthur and Silvia Zuwala. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Harold Vines (Lieta) and her 2 sisters-in-law Phyllis and Ruth Vines as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her husband of 44 years Alvin Klein, brothers Wray Vines and Eldon Vines as well as brothers-in-law George Clark, Wilfred Klein, Norman Klein and sisters-in-law Ruth Clark, Florence Klein, Violet Klein and Inez Schiedel. She was also predeceased by her infant grandson Evan Monk.
To honor her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Private Family inurnment was held at the Mildmay United Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hanover Missionary Church on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 11 am. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Hanover Missionary Church or to the Saugeen Hospice would be appreciated by the family. Joanne and Don, Our condlences with thoughts and prayers for your familys. With fond memories of your mother and the influences of my life I will ever be grateful of her love for Jesus. Your parents and Grandmother are the reason I believe Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I remember the many Saturdays I spent in my early years growing up at your farm and summers spent helping out haying and bringing in the sheaves. Your dad taught me my love for everythin agriculture. Sundays I looked forward to my Sunday school teachers Alvin and Phyllis they were like second parents to me, they will always be remembered as my spiritual parents. with love Dennis
