

Elizabeth “Beth” Rose Pollard, passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. She was 73.
Born on July 10, 1952 in Toronto to the late Victor and Helen (nee Thompkins) Chowns. Beth was very blessed and enjoyed every moment she had with her family as it grew. Having her loving husband Jack by her side for 53 years, she was fortunate to have 2 sons, 4 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. They were her pride and joy.
Survived by her loving husband Jack Pollard of Durham. Loved mother of Michael & Kendra Pollard, Mark & Joannie Pollard, both of Hanover. Dear Nana of Summer, Sydney, Aydon, and Mikalynn, as well as a great granddaughter Violet. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Gail Chowns of Parry Sound, brother-in-law Robert Pollard of Belleville and many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents, siblings Ron Chowns, Leonard Chowns, Barb Eichler and brother-in-law James Pollard and sister-in-law Helen (Jack) Ball.
To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private casual come and go celebration of life will be held.
Memorial donations to the Palmerston Hospital or charity of choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
