

Marilynn Elizabeth Lindsay, formerly of Hanover, passed away at Bennett Health Care Centre in Georgetown on Sunday, January 11, 2026. She was 90
Born in Hanover on July 7, 1935 to the late Verne and Clara (nee Subject) Snider.
Survived by children Todd (Elizabeth) Lindsay and Lauri (John) Backus.
Beloved grandmother of Samantha (Mike) and Ryan (Elizabeth). Loved great grandmother to Josh, Carson, Maverick and Landen. Dear sister of Wayne (Lynn) Snider, Sharon (David) Grinnell, Faye (Ed) Buck, Donna (Doug) Braithwaite. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and their families.
Marilynn is predeceased by her beloved husband Warren, brother Wayne, sister Sharon and brother – in – law Ed Buck.
Marilynn and Warren spent many years in Toronto where they raised their family before retiring and returning to Hanover in 1988.
Marilynn was very involved with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #130 (Hanover) as a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary as well as a member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment service will be held in the spring at Hanover Cemetery.
