Raymond Louis Dietrich, of Hanover, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. He was 74.  

born in Hanover on July 4, 1951 to the late Ralph and Catherine (nee Clark) Dietrich. Raymond was a MacGyver and could fix anything, but enjoyed simple things. He was fond of his cowboy boots and his leather jacket, the loony tunes and Old Vienna.  He was a hard worker and was a Heavy Equipment Operator. 

Loved father of Lori Papa, Karrie Walls and Dennielle Dietrich. Step Daughter Jenn Doig.  Special grandpa of Sadie, Haley, Cierra, Madison, Tye, Brayden and Tianna. Fondly remembered by his siblings Teddy, Marlene, Anne, Dean, Betty, Jacquie and Shane. 

Predeceased by his parents and his brother Jimmy. 

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place with a celebration of life in the spring in Douglas Hill Cemetery, Walkerton.
