“You never know how strong you are until being strong in your only choice” – Bob Marley
In Loving Memory of Bonnie Lee Davis (Bossence)
August 16, 1960 – February 11, 2026
Bonnie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bonnie refused to let her diagnosis define her. She remained steadfast in her faith, believing wholeheartedly that God alone determined her fate. Through every obstacle, she met life with determination, grace, and an unbreakable will to keep fighting. She never allowed hardship to dim her spirit.
Above all, Bonnie loved deeply and unconditionally. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them- especially the cherished memories made together at the cottage in Wasaga Beach. Her kind heart, sharp wit, and beautifully sarcastic sense of humor will love on in the stories shared and the love she leaves behind. Bonnie’s unwavering devotion to those she loved will forever be remembered and held close by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to the Hanover & District Hospital Foundation (https:// www.hdhf.ca/). The compassionate staff went above and beyond to ensure that Bonnie’s most difficult days were as comfortable and peaceful as possible offering not only exceptional care to her but also tireless support to her family and friends as they navigated an unimaginable time.

- Brad and Brenda SchenkSo sorry for your loss Steve and family. Bonnie was a wonderful friend who enriched those around her. From the sweet little girl who presented herself to me in grade 3 saying we are cousins, to the beautiful bridesmaid in my wedding, she was a great friend throughout my life. I know she loved her family dearly, from her 3 little siblings, to her many aunts, loving husband, children, and grandchildren. She was surrounded by love all her life because that is what she gave others. Deepest condolences to all who loved her.
