Julia “Julie” Maria Hartman, of London, passed away peacefully at Extendicare Elmwood Place in London on Thursday, April 16, 2026.  

She was 97. 

Born in Brant Township on December 14, 1928 to the late Elmer and Wilhelmine (nee Little) Fritz. Better known as "Julie", she will be remembered for her skills as a seamstress with Dickies. 

Survived by son Garry (Wendy) Hartman of London and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Hartman of Toronto. Loved grandmother grandchildren Steven (Veronica) Hartman, Chad (Lori) Hartman and Michael Hartman. Adored by her great grandchildren Kristopher (Samantha), Cole, Alania, Emery and Margot as well as her great great granddaughter Halle. Fondly remembered by her sister Ruby Birr and nieces, nephews and their families.   Predeceased by husband Clendon Hartman, son Kenneth Hartman, and siblings Shirley Russell, Maxine Bucholtz, William "Bud" Fritz and Larry Fritz.

To honour her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at the Hanover Cemetery.
