It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Shawn Patrick Molson, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. He passed away suddenly on June 21, 2026 at the age of 48, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, service, and love that touched countless lives.
For more than 20 years, Shawn served his community as a paramedic, answering the call to help others in their most difficult moments. His dedication, professionalism, and caring nature made a lasting impact on the people he served and the colleagues who had the privilege of working alongside him. Helping others was not simply his profession—it was who he was.
Outside of his career, Shawn found joy in the outdoors. Whether he was casting a line on a quiet river or spending time at his cabin hunting with friends, he felt most at peace outdoors. He was an avid sports fan who rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams.
Above all else, Shawn loved people. He was known for his kind heart, thoughtful nature, and genuine interest in others. He had a gift for making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for. His laughter, encouragement, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
Shawn was a devoted son, a cherished brother, and a proud uncle. The love he shared with his family was evident in everything he did. He created countless memories that will be treasured forever and leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will carry his spirit in their hearts always.
Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we take comfort in remembering a life lived with generosity, and love. His legacy will continue through the many lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
Forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
Loved by his parents Patrick and Phyllis (nee Priebe) Molson of Hanover. Dear brother of Shannon (Robert) Kuepfer of Kitchener. Special uncle of Tyler (April), Abigail (Lyle) and Gracie (Enoch) as well as great uncle of Willson and soon to be babe arriving in September. Remembered by Laura (Zavitz) Molson.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday, July 3, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A Private Graveside Service will be held at the Hanover Columbarium at a later date.
