Marilyn Teresa Cuff
May 1, 1952 - June 27, 2026
After many years of health challenges, Marilyn left us peacefully in the early hours of June 27, 2026.
Born and raised in Hamilton Ontario, Marilyn lived the past 19 years between Hanover, Walkerton and Barrie.
Marilyn was part of the St.Eugene's and Bishop Ryan alumni. She pursued a career as a Respiratory Technologist through Fanshaw College.
Marilyn loved her doggies. She was rarely without at least one, from Chloe (Bouvier), Bosco & Hershey (Labs) to Bond, Ruffian & Lark (Cavaliers). Marilyn enjoyed training her canine companions for competitions in both obedience and rally.
Thankfully for social media she kept in contact with family and friends. Often the conversation was around her Toronto Blue Jays.
Marilyn was predeceased by her father, Francis (Frank) 2006, her mother Shirley (nee Button) 2023, and her brother in law , Dr. Paul Eisenbarth, 2011. She is survived and greatly missed by family, Debbi (Brian), Marney (the late, Paul), Trish (Bill), Chris (Roger) and Aleisha. Beloved Auntie and Great Auntie of many nieces and nephews, coast to coast.
Marilyn's family wishes to extend a special thank you to Doctor Michael Gill and Doctor Charles Dafe for their care and compassion. A big thank you to all of her caregivers at Brucelea Haven in Walkerton and her dear friend and helper, Patty. We all appreciate your care and honest attention to her needs. She spoke highly of you all.
A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover.
Donations in Marilyn's honour may be made to the University of Guelph's Pet Trust. https://pettrust.ca/memorial-gifts/
I miss her dearly and send my love and prayers to friends and family.
- ReneeWe are very sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing, we became to know her while she was camping and living at Maple Hill, and she was such a lovely lady. Marilyn was always so happy and cheerful, we very much enjoyed out chats especially about our puppies Ruby and Bond. Once she moved away, we lost communication with her, but we think and talk often about her. Sending our sincere sympathies to Marilyn's family. Jenn Keip & Paul La Rose
- Jenn Keip & Paul La RoseWe are so sorry to hear of the passing of Marilyn. I sold her her adorable little house in Walkerton and then she rented from us for a few years. Wendel was working at Revera and I would see Marilyn many times when I would pop in. She was such a ray of sunshine and just a kind and lovely person. Our sincere sympathies.

- Irene RimnyakMy deepest sympathies to Marilyn's family. Marilyn was a roommate with my Mom at the Listowel Hospital last year for some weeks. We always enjoyed her company and she was a great help to us at that time. I am sad to see she is gone.
RIP Marilyn.
My deepest sympathies to all of my Cuff cousins and their families. A lot of fond memories of summer days at “the lake” and Christmas at Gran and Grandad's. (I still have a copy of the home movie of all us grandkids coming out of the box!)…Larry & Deb Button
