

Ivan Theodore Huehn, of Hanover, passed away surrounded by his family at Hanover and District Hospital, Hanover on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
He was 90.
Born in Normanby Township on March 8, 1936 to the late William and Melinda (nee Schlegel) Huehn.
Survived by devoted wife Kay (nee Rosendale) Huehn. Loved father of Jo-Anne (Jim) Weltz of West Grey, Darlene Weltz (Ray) of Waterloo, Reg (Kerry) Huehn of Ennotville, John Allenson (Elaine Stewart) of Nova Scotia, Marjorie (Pat) Logel of Walkerton and Randy Allenson of London. Special Grandpa/Papa of 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren as well as 6 great great grandchildren. Remembered by his sister Marlene (Howard) Weltz and brother Gerald (Carolyn) Huehn. Predeceased by his parents, son Troy, brother Willard (Bernice) Huehn and great grandson Jamal Weltz in infancy.
Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 from 5-8pm.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 11:00 am, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church – Neustadt with visitation from 10am until 10:45am. Pastor Ed Bastian officiating. Cremation to follow with private family inurnment in St. Peters Lutheran Cemetery, Neustadt, at a later date.
