Born in Normanby Township on October 12, 1929, to the late Edward and Valera (nee Fischer) Kahl.
Doris will be lovingly remembered by her family Jane (Murray) Moyer, Carson (Karen) Lantz, Sandy (Steve) Hobson, Kirk (Jean) Lantz and Charlene (Jeff) Ditner. Loved grandmother of Terry (Katie) Moyer, Tim Moyer, Lyle (Krista) Moyer, Bevan Lantz (Amy Ernest), Tara Lantz, Bryce (Jaymie) Hobson, Lindsay Hobson (Ken Pratt), Brayden Lantz, and her great grandchildren Kailynn (Conner Lee), Caleb, Noah Moyer, Violet Lantz, Nathan, Kodi-Lynn Hobson, and Vincent Dowd. Remembered by her sisters Muriel (Gordon) Lyons, Madeleine Kahl, Florence (Frank) Hall, and brother Jack (Elaine) Kahl, sisters in law Linda Kahl, Margaret Litt. Predeceased by her husband Lorne, and grandson Randy, sisters Victoria Elliott and Norma Sullivan and brothers Garnet, Ed, Bob, and Frank Kahl and her five sisters in law and six brothers in law.
A Private Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Lauderbach Cemetery. Rev. Pam McNeil officiating.

She always had a smile and a little mischevious twinkle in her eyes. I remember going there on Hallowe'en night every year, and she had homemade fudge for us.
