Edward "Ted" DeBrusk

Edward “Ted” Vernon DeBrusk, of Kitchener, passed away peacefully at Waterloo Regional Health Network in Kitchener on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. He was 80. 

Born in Kitchener on July 10, 1946 to the late Isodore and Violet (nee Cornell) DeBrusk. Better known as Ted, he worked as a Radiographer specialist on the pipelines. 

Survived by devoted wife Joan (nee Spielmacher) of Kitchener. Dear brother of Gary (Karen) DeBrusk, Sherry (Tim) Cybulske, Lyn Mockewicius. Remembered by his sister in law Audrey (William) Craig, brothers in law Don Spielmacher, Gerald (Mary Ann) Spielmacher, Jim (Jane) Spielmacher and Paul (Mimi) Spielmacher as well as many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Ronald and Randall "Jack" DeBrusk and sister in law Mary Lou Spielmacher. 

A private family Visitation will be held at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, where a private family service will follow. Interment in the Hanover Cemetery.
