- Art McAfee, Barb WatsonI didn't really know how to put this into words this morning, but I think I'm ready to share it now.
I've been trying to find the right words all day, and honestly, I'm not sure there are any that can really do justice to what it feels like to lose someone who has been part of your life for as long as you can remember.
But there is one thought that has brought me some comfort today.
For years, I've thought about my Papa and my Nana, and the love they shared and the lessons that I carry every day and now, I like to believe that Papa has finally found his way back to her.
So while today is difficult, I don't want to remember it only as the day we lost him.
I want to think of it as the day he found his way home.
I love you, Papa.

I had the great pleasure of getting to know Don at his home at MCVean .
He always had a smile on his face and was up at the crack of dawn and the first one to the dining room awaiting his breakfast.followed by his sister Catherine by his side for their daily morning chat before breakfast.
A great ,kind man that enjoyed the company of his table mates and their conversations at each meal .
Always kind and courteous to everyone .
Certainly enjoyed our little chats
He will be missed by the staff and residents at McVean
Thinking of all his family and friends at the difficult time.
RIP Don
