John Hubert Kalte, of Hanover, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, October 12, 2026. He was 79. 

Born in Hanover on December 31, 1946 to the late Milton and Emma (nee Schmidt) Kalte. John was a valued friend to many over the years and will be remembered by his friends at HARC. He was active in the community as well as enjoyed Lawn Bowling with the Hanover Lawn Bowling Club. 

Loved by his sisters Maris Kalte and Judianne Drummond both of Hanover. Remembered by his nieces Rondalea Drummond, Michelen Mast and nephew Kristofer Drummond. Predeceased by his parents. 

To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family inurnment in Hanover Cemetery.
