William "Art" Arthur Crews, of Hanover, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Thursday, September 11, 2025. He was 76.
Born in Orangeville on December 27th 1948 to the late John and Norma (nee Widdis) Crews. Many people will remember Art from his many years working at Crate Designs. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time with family at hunt camp and in the wilderness. Most of all Art loved his family and was a proud grandfather who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by loving wife Jackie Crews of Hanover. Beloved father of Teresa (Charley) Glaves of Hanover, and Diana (Randy) Davis of Ayton. Loving grandfather of Dustin (Emily), Ben (Jaz), Max, Carson (Kayla), Eric (Marissa), Bailey, and Nikki (Abbi), and great grandfather to Brielle, Dax, Graelyn, Hudson, and Nash. Fondly remembered by his brother John "Rolly" (Trudy) Crews, Anne (Paul) Mackey all of Elmwood, and sister in law Helen Crews of Exeter. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents and brother Paul.
To honour his wishes, cremation has taken place.
